Walking home today, I spotted an intriguing new restaurant on Ninth Avenue between 51st and 52nd. Entitled "Stecchino," it's a beauty... couldn't quite tell whether it was open yet or not (there was a bit of activity going on inside, but it didn't look like dinner service). I will most certainly be checking it out soon.
Mysterious... yet inviting

I was there on Halloween (it was open for a kinda preview night) and had a great time. Nice drinks, delicious small food plates. Tasty desserts. Great decor and lots of energy inside. I hope you have a great time too when you go.
