I like to read your restaurant reviews. I also realized that you tend to always order papaya salad or just a salad (with some cheese) for dinner. Since there's not much protein in your dish, does it fill you up? That's another reason why it's sometimes difficult to dine out as a vegetarian. Do you have any favorite Greek restaurants in the city? have you tried Kefi? I'm too afraid to go because of the crowd.
Usually my selections do fill me up-- I'm not much of a huge protein person, so I'd rather have a less-filling entree and leave room for dessert! But I rarely leave a restaurant still genuinely hungry.
I did try to go to Kefi once-- but it was highly unsuccessful: http://lifewithfoodanddrink.blogspot.com/2009/01/screw-you-kefi-neighborhood-relief-at.html. I haven't tried to go again since. My favorite Greek place in the city is definitely Pera Mediterranean Brasserie. It's a bit too expensive for everyday dining, but it's very yummy and definitely great for a special occasion or a big group: http://lifewithfoodanddrink.blogspot.com/search/label/Pera%20Mediterranean%20Brasserie.

Hi Gar,
